Manor is a highly over-subscribed and outstanding 11-16 Church of England Academy located in the beautiful historic City of York. In 2012 the school gained 66% 5A*-C with English and Maths. The most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2007 found the school to be Outstanding. In February the SIAS inspection of the academy found all areas to be Outstanding. The academy is recognised as a National Support School and was designated a Teaching School in 2011.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious teacher of Science to join this high achieving department. The successful candidate will teach across the ability and age range.

Volunteers Required at the HIVE

 

We are looking for Volunteers to support events being held in the HIVE at Manor CE Acdemy, York

 

The Hive is a fabulous Creative Media centre based behind the Academy Building. Facilities include a purpose built 209 seat Studio Theatre.

 

To enable our theatre to be run efficieiently and successfully we are looking for Volunteers for the following roles:

Front of House

Usher

Cafe/Bar Assistant

 

You may have relevant experience or just keen to volunteer in a theatre environment to learn new skils, meet new people and have fun! Full training

and support willl be provided.

 

Hours will be mainly on evenings and weekends and will be co-ordinated depending on demand and availability
