The Academy is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School and the Church appoints the majority of the Governors. As a Church School, the Christian faith is central to all we do. The school motto is ‘Deo Duce’ – God is our leader and Manor CE Academy endeavours to live our motto into being. We believe that Church schools have a significant and distinctive role in shaping the lives of the young people in their care. Morning assemblies are held regularly in the school hall.
There are also meetings of house, year or tutor groups on some mornings. Eucharist services are held regularly for year groups both within school and at the local Holy Redeemer Church. The vicar of this Church is also the Chaplain of the Academy.
